I swear at least 50% of what I know about the military I learned from making Pixie and Brutus comics XD!
For example, making this comic I learned that the M-203 (grenade launcher attachment) has been in service in the U.S. military for almost 50 years… and now, in typing this, I’ve just learned that I misspelled “attachment” in the comic… great.
